So has Knighter gone through the process? We cant mess with the process!

ooh please a few days ago you came out and said "WE MUST SIGN UP RAWLINGS NOW"

now you come out with the "WE CANT MESS WITH THE PROCESS"

Your second comment is most correct pal and if we are to be serious we must see this out till the end and not be persuaded by outside influences like a few cheap wins against useless opposition ar a Hardwick that may be snapped up by Port.

See it out till the end and offer a 2 year deal, which by the way will be Rawlings

Social intelligence would have seen you you realisethat i was speaking tongue in cheek, Daniel my little friend!

i dont believe the rumor but who knows hey

btw , so what if knights is contracted, there is no law that says you cannot leave ur workplace while contracted if something better comes along

why is it ok for coaches to be sacked and not ok for coaches to walk away, rememember wallace has walked away from 2 contracts b4 they expired lol
Ummm, do you actually know the law? Ever heard of the term "breach of contract"?

i know for a fact that matty knights still loves rfc more than anything, blacjk and yellow still run through his veins, and if he was available or wanted the job imo its his , if he dosnt and this rumor is bs then jade has to be the man

maybe this is why both sheedy and campbell pulled out of the race, maybe there is more to this than we know

I'm not particularly interested in Mattie Knights coaching Richmond. There are 2 reasons for this:-

1. The defensive side of his game plan is weak
2. I would prefer that our club simply follow something through properly and not flip flop (for a change)
To me, the logic of the rumour is solid, I can see it happening.

Tigers want more "Tigers" at Tigerland. There is no doubting the love Knighter has for our club. Many rumours of disquiet between the senior Bomber players and the coach. You could kinda see it coming.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

I know I would like to see him here where he belongs.
It would be good if it was true but like others I can't see it happening.

I'm not interested either (unless he goes through the process and comes up trumps - can't see that happening) and I think the most relevant quote in your post was "Many rumours of disquiet between the senior Bomber players and the coach."  You have to ask why.

Yes, it's used mostly in AFL for assistant coaches being able to get out of contracts to take on the senior role at another club, not for the senior coach of one side to take up another senior coaching position at an opposition club

Sheeds would use us to twist the arm of Essendon into giving him a new contract. Perhaps Knighter when under him has learnt the same trick to try and cement his position beyond next year.

If memory serves me correctly, Knights played under Northery didnt he ...  He would have learnt something about how manic clubs can get about favorite sons returning to coach them    :whistle

Typical Richmond supporter. Always backing the players over the coach.... even at other clubs  ::)

You dont know anything for a fact sunshine. You make it up and then claim your brother told you when challenged.

Matty Knights still holds a grudge at how his career ended at Richmond. He did took the hard road to make it as a senior coach with NO help or nepotism from us whatsover
