Sadly for Patto the end might be nigh. He tries hard but trying alone won't guarantee success.

Patto is a in-betweener. Not really a ruckman and not really a key forward. With younger tall(er) options now available in both the ruck and up forward who are better skilled, Patto is looking shakey to stay on the list.

GR, the Swans are apparently interested in Seaby. Well I hope so  :-\.

I don't think it is so much that he is inbetweener MT. He's just not good enough. His balance, movement and hand skills are terrible. He doesn't have the awareness or hurt the opposition enough to play around the ground. He has the posture of an 80 year old man and just lopes around. Give him a bit more height or a bit more pace and he might be better suited to a particular position, but I don't think he would have be any more effective.

Time's up for Patto.

Terrible - I was at the Willy Coburg game on which Patto got promoted. All I can presume is they were seeing if he could show anything. Some of his turnovers and fumbles are just outright unnacceptable at AFL level. :banghead

A player that always gives his best and carried our ruck on his own in trying times deserves some respect. He makes a few mistakes but at least he gets his hands on the ball and tackles when other ruckman are just spectators.
I don't know why his team mates would deliver the ball to his feet when he is surrounded by three oposition players - they must have a sense of humour.

How old is he anyway? He would be taken by other clubs if we cut him.

They didn't deliver it to his feet in the opening minutes of the game. It was put on his chest in the forward pocket, and he dropped it like a bar of soap.Seconds later he picked it up near the boundary, tried to hook it to the goalsquare, and only managed to squirt it thirty metres straight up into the air under very little pressure. The guy is a willing competitor, but he is a hack. Not up to VFL standard, let alone AFL. If he would be taken by other clubs as you say, then great, let's trade him. He'll do absolutely nothing for us.
