If i had my way id throw in King & Edwards as well because who are we trying to kid is he really going to win you a flag. NO!!!

Edwards especially part of the Wallace brigade of skinny little weeds that cannot hurt a fly.

Hughes needs another year but FFS play him in the forward line alongside Jack. What have they got to lose. SFA

Daniel please remember that players dont win you flags, teams do! Plenty of good ordinary footballers play in premierships. Discipline, team work, 1 % etc. win flags, not superstars!

exactly and i've had a gutful of watching skinny little players who cannot lay a tackle if their life depended on it. Our disposal is terrible bordering on laughable

time for Al Clarkson's philosophy to come into play "IF YOU CANT KICK YOUR OUT OF THE TEAM"

as for your line about teams winning you flags well under your man Rawlings our tackle count has gone up one position to 12th now if you think that will win you a flag then you are kidding yourself. He has won 2 games, drawn one and yet we are still 12th.

These are the stats that matter. If we were sitting in top 3 i would be calling for Jade to be given the role but FFS we are 12th and we will never go anywhere as a footy club till we start leading in these areas.

The coach that instills displine and makes the players block, shepherd & tackle will get us into the finals not a few cheap wins against useless teams.

Hes taken our tackle count up to 12th but it is where these tackles occur that counts! You cannot tell me that Nahas and Sloppy havent increased the pressure applied in our forward 50? I much prefer the brand we are playing now than previously, it is accountable footy, now time for the skills.........

Nahas has been laying tackles since his debut. Watch the Port Adelaide game again and you will see what a pocket dynamo he is. A player who has this attribute in his first season will have it more than likely for the duration of his career. A player that does not will need to have it drummed into him to achieve this. If Sloppy and Nahas were to sit on the sidelines for the rest of the year there would be NO pressure on the opposition in our forward line. Monkeys see and monkeys do. Where would that leave us at the pre Wallace heights of 13th or 14th-16th?
Must be indoctrinated to the team as a mandatory philosophy on how to play good football rather than a reactionary movement to someone who has the ball. Then we will improve and then we will benefit from referred pressure also.

ooh please your not going to use that old chestnut are you?

Nahas has been brilliant in this area from day one.

Nice try pal but stats dont lie and under Jade we have improved only marginally. IMO no where near enough to be given the job.

Its a real shame we dont play anyone in the top 4 again because then you will see the real richnmond get smashed and most of you will be singing a very different tune

Thats what is giving the Rawlings supporters hope. They know we aint playing no Geelong, or Bulldogs, or St Kilda ... errr what saw what happened against St Kilda lol ... anyway these guys are hoping cheap wins against tanking teams will be enough to give good ol' Jade the job. :banghead

I have posted this on another thread but in my opinion 10 delistings is very realistic -

Delistings
Jonhson, Bowden, Simmonds, Petts, JON, Cogs plus possibly Brown and Polak.

Hughes could also be a potential exclusion but given the amount in front of him and his age he will more than likely be retained.

Trades
Raines, Schulz and possibly even Tuck and/or Patto.

Yep hard to disagree with your outs Stripes. The 10-15 players would include rookies too.

Retired: Johnson, Bowden, Simmonds, Cogs, Polak, Browny?
Delisted: JON, Petts, Gourdis*, Silvester*?
Trade options: Schulz, Hughes, Raines, Patto, Tuck
Payout: McMahon?
Kingy rumouredly may have a performance clause in contract?
Thomson should be another but he's contracted as well  :P.

It's not hard to come up with 15 names. All depends on contracts and if any other clubs are stupid enough to offer anything during trade week. We'll have plenty of cap space to play with given all the senior players leaving so that won't be an issue.
