Nothing is for free there is always a catch to these things
Remember FIA Insurance well they used to put raffle like books at the supermarket checkout to win prizes & all they do is put them books into a filing cabinet after listing your contact details then start ringing all who entered which was thousands to try flog thier security system.
l'm sure some of you or your parents have brought a security system off them.
One salesman tryed to stooge me once
l let him in & when he seen all the Tigers memrobilla he said Matthew Knights & him went to school together & were the bestest of mates.
He said if l brought a security system he would get me a signed poster of Richmond from Knighter for free & post it too me
could have taken him in the rompus room & shown exactly what he wanted to get me with every signiture on it
Any way l got his name & asked Knighter the next weekend & he never knew the name
so l messed with this bloke for weeks telling him l really wanted a alarm system but l was struggling to get the deposit, He even said he could give me a loan to pay it off
he was so desperate for some extra commission
anyway l already had a 4 camera video survailance system on the house with stickers on each front window with blue flashing light & siren which he never seen after visiting 4 times trying to flog me this alarm system
anyway to cut a long story short a friend had worked for them as a installer & told us what they were doing & the prizes & free raffle was fake so we reported it & they were punished in the court & fined thousands & they closed the doors of thier buisness
After they were exposed they were checked out done for fraud right throughout OZ, punished again & stopped from trading
all the general exe were caught for some of the biggest swindles in OZ
my wife worked for ASIC at the time so punishment came very quickly
just like to share that one with you all so dont get tricked as you dont get anything in this world for nothing, someone is always paying for it somewhere along the line in fraudulant activity
If he didnot rubbish to me & l never owned a security system, l would have brought one from them but not that type & he would have got more commission
l wonder what his doing today l bet he dont use that Knights story again
