Does anyone reckon that Age comes into this? Hinkley I think would be almost mid 40s now and Hardwick late 30s.

Either Hardwick or Hinkley is the correct result. Both should get full support of the supporters when 1 gets appointed.

i agree, hinkley is my choice but if hardwick gets it he will have my support

Completely irrelevant what his name is. What counts is what is on the resume and his capacity to move the club forward in 2010 and 2011. For me Hardwick and Hinkley are infront of Jade. Jade is in his early 30s - he has plenty of time to round out his development. He probably needs to go and get a flag or two at a lower level first.

Hinkley turns 43 in September.
Hardwick turns 37 today.    :birthday
Richardson turned 44 in May.

7 years covers them - I can't see age playing too much part in this Ramps.

For interest:

Clarkson turned 41 this year - was 36 when appointed.
Thompson turns 46 this year - was 38 when appointed.
Ratten turned 37 this year - was 35 when appointed.
Lyon turns 43 this year - was 40 when appointed.
Williams turns 51 on Friday - was 41 when appointed.
Worsfold turns 41 this year - was 34 when appointed.
Roos turned 46 this year - was 39 when appointed.
Eade turned 51 this year - was 38 when first appointed.
Craig turned 53 this year - was 49 when appointed.
Malthouse turned 56 yesterday - was 31 when first appointed.
Knights turns 39 this year - was 38 when appointed.
Harvey turned 44 this year - was 43 when appointed.
Bailey turned 42 this year - was 41 when appointed.
Voss turned 34 this year - was 34 when appointed.
Scott turned 33 this year.

I think there is a positive out of all this speculation and that is, the LEAKS appear to have dried up at the club. :thumbsup

The current "leaks" certainly appear to be more speculative and often wrong

I wouldnt think so either some premiership coaches were in there late 30s when appointed. Its more who the players could relate to more not that that matters. Ultimately the coach has to drive these players as hard as possible.

Let me get this straight

All tiger forums have people 'in the know' saying its down to Hardwick + Hinkley.
Quarterbrain says the same.
Caro has been saying Richardson is favourite for the last few days.

Who else?

in recent times I reckon caro must be on the sauce as opposed to using one...she's been wide of the mark and last night everyone in melbourne knew rawlo had an interview except her with comments Hinkley was up...I'd be cautious about reading too much into any reports at the minute

The interesting angle is when it officially gets to 2 candidates. When will that become known? And the day/days they are presenting to the board.

Yeah, they might not be able to split them after 2 rounds and decide to put them all up before the board.

March said that the sub-comittee will have a much greater say than the board. Given that they'll have spoken to them at least twice each previously. I'd be surprised and lose a lot of faith in our process if they couldn't get it down to 2 for the board smokey.
