Richardson is fantastic with young players - that's what I mean when I talk about the right fit for this club. Richardson has a proven track record in the development area...

I could live (just  ;D) with Richardson

I would be content with Hinkley.

Do not know much about Richardson but he has a good name so he would also do.

Hardwick I will be sick. I like Rawlings but after that abortion on the weekend he has no chance.
So you think Hardwick is a wanker so don't want him, but you think Richardson has a good name so you'd be happy with him?

My god am I glad you don't get a vote

Caro repeated tonight that Hinkley was interviewed either last night or late yesterday arvo. She also said she doesn't know who the new coach will be.

LOL, lets slag the coach no matter who he is.

Well when we are all being truthful and not taking the pee its fair to say that all the candidates are underwhelming from a pr point of view. So I agree whoever gets it, if they dont start winning early games, we should all jump on and start the rot again in trying to get them the arse :lol

Half the reason Wallace was appointed was from the PR point of view and look where that got us
We are stable enough financially we don't need our new coach to sell the club, we just need development and turnover of the list plus lots of wins. PR is irrelevant.

before development needs to come hard nosed decision making and embarking on changing club culture to rid the place of the cancer that exists. All the development in the world wont help us if the club cant come together and go in the same direction, united and focussed on ultimate success.

I do not want Hardwick based on

i - disliking his club
ii - disliking him as a player

would prefer almost anyone else.

So nothing to do with his coaching ability then?  :-\
Given I hate all 15 other clubs and their players, that would leave very few candidates if we were ruling them out on that basis.

The fact we have to face is that most of the other clubs have been doing it better than we have for quarter of a century, so we need to get someone who knows success in to fix the joint.

Quite interesting this talk of culture and hunger and playing for each other.

Sheeds seemed to build a great winning culture at Essendon yet he was unwanted. Could have done a very good 2-3 year stint for us IMHO. A modern day Len Smith.

Maybe if we were just starting our process now we would have dealt with the Sheedy situation differently.

For me Richardson is still no 1. I think he's the closest thing to a walk up senior coach out of the three of them.
