Rest him, put Miles in, it is obviously the correct move.

While we are resting players Daniel "the man" Rioli looked a little proppy. Rest him as well.
Ellis and Morris need a permanent rest, put in Lloyd and Lennon. Bolton could be given a run and Stengel as well

Not something you say about a 700k player you have just given up pick 7 for.

Richardson has a lot to answer for.

On current form not worth pick 6 not even a top 20 pick.Weither he is injured or not I'm not sure but has to improve dramatic to warrant  $$ and pick 6.

Heart transplants aren't covered by the club's medical insurance.
Caracella and Balmey.

worst game  by a considerable margin - can any trackwatchers confirm whether this bloke is actually training at all? Had the distinct look of a player who has no conditioning

Has always had questionable foot skills.

His conditioning/ explosiveness is something that should hopefully change for the better though. 2 good games out of 6 (Carlton and Brisbane) is a disappointing return at this point.

So we basically paid a top part first round pick for another Foley complete with injuries

NO KNEE ISSUES FOR STAR TIGER

Chris Cavanagh
Herald-Sun
2 May 2017

RICHMOND has quashed suggestions Dion Prestia is still being hampered by knee issues that have plagued him in recent years and backed the high-profile recruit to build on his start to the season.

Prestia made an impressive debut in the yellow and black in Round 1 with 28 disposals and a goal against Carlton but has been noticeably quiet in recent weeks.

The former Gold Coast midfielder averaged 106 SuperCoach points a game in 2014, 101 in 2015 and 93 last year but has averaged just 80 points in his first six games for his new club.

His kicking efficiency is a career-low 44 per cent.

While not wanting to make public comment on Prestia’s form, Richmond yesterday flatly denied its prized recruit was being troubled by his knee or playing sore and said he had been fully training on an individual program.

Prestia played just eight games in 2015 before suffering a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee and managed only 16 games last year before having further knee surgery last July.

The Tigers signed the 24-year-old on a five-year deal last October, reported to be worth more than $3.5 million, and carefully managed him over a limited pre-season as he continued his recovery from surgery.

He is on an individual program so he is either on catch up to fitness due to an interrupted pre-season or he is still carrying effects of the injury.

Yep, most likely barely training from match day to match day bc of soreness hence his conditioning is getting worse which is coinciding with his performances getting worse by the week.

I saw him grab at his knee in the night game against Collingwood so I reckon he's done something in that game
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
