Every player makes errors by foot, why are we so critical of our good players when they make errors? I watched the haw - wb game and in the first qtr Griffen was horrible with his disposal, yet by the end of the match all you hear was how good is Griff? A gun like pendlebury makes skill errors by foot every week (I watch every pies game unfortunately) yet we don't hear boo about it. Cotch makes errors and his disposal is suspect. There was a game earlier this year where Cotch had more time in possession than I can remember him having this season and hit 4-5 lace out passes to leading fwds perfectly weighted and then I come on here and here the talk of a few errors he made.

What abt Fyfe? makes more clangers and errors by foot than just about any other player in the comp. Bar G.Ablett who is a freak, every single elite midfielder butchers their fair share of kicks

Fair points t_m.

Interesting you mention Griffen it his disposal that has always had me questioning how good he actually is because he can be "elite" when it comes to butchering the ball. ;D Ditto Cooney but I see more upside in Griffen because he's long kicking is more dangerous (IMO) than his short kicking.

+1 on this. AFL official website has him in #9 on player ratings? Did I miss something? Because when I didn't see anything too remarkable from Griffen when we played/spanked them in rounds 3 and 13

Trent....you must start kicking goals mate, this is the only thing letting you down!!! Captains and midfielders need to kick goals, particularly when you have as many shots as you do.

He really needs to kick the goals he has the opportunity to kick and he just doesn't do it.

conca ellis vickery deledio jackson houli  martin were all better than cotchin

even jack missed many goals but at least he was instrumental in many of our goals

stats mean poo

cotchins game was poor

we had what over 100 more touches that bris ,, scoreboard and direct play counts not cheat stats

cotchin's kicking is worse than whites, edwards, jackson or any other whipping boy you want to dredge up, at the moment.

very frustrating.

Admit you are all wrong, rewatch the game and look at his second and third efforts and his inside work

I didnt think he was that bad today.

I suppose the disposal efficiency by foot will settle the argument? Anyone privy?
