Will Ashcroft with another Norm Smith. He was the highest ranked player on the ground, but I thought Fletcher was stiff not to win it. McCluggage also unlucky with 26 possies and 4 goals.

Probably a good time to be rebuilding over the next few years. This Brisbane team isn't going away soon when they'll add Draper, Allen, plus more Academy first rounders for next year.

They need to get rid of f/s or make teams give up real picks. Of this keeps happening teams like Brisbane, GWS and GC will dominate the comp.

It's already started at Geelong. This from supporters of a club that won 3 flags in 5 years thanks to a bunch of freebie star F/S.

Geelong showed up for what they are

Bullies against poor and average sides. Average themselves against the top sides

I didn't think he was that far ahead of the rest tbh

Andrews, Mccluggage, Cameron, Fletcher etc all sensational

I thought he was bog. Cameron the only 1 that could have challenged him as his 4 goals all came when the game was still in the balance. The fact he didn’t get 1 vote is crazy to me. Andrews and fletcher both good all game worth a shout same with the inaccurate Bailey but mcluggage kicked 2-3 of his 4 when the game was already decided.

Worthy winner imo.

Chris Scott calls for AFL rule change as Geelong cop awful news after loss in grand final

“I’ll say one thing – and I hope this doesn’t sound like sour grapes: I think we all – and I’m at the head of the queue – will be rapt to see the back of the sub rule,” Scott said.

Of course he does…..

It is a dumb rule however it’s there to help teams that are in the exact situation Geelong were in yesterday so an injured player can be taken off without impacting the rotations.

Now if only he decided to sub the guy with the obviously broken arm instead of watching him run around with 1 arm and in serious pain for 3 quarters…..

Surely I'm not the only one who watched the replay of his arm bending that way...

I cannot believe the Geelong docs said he was ok to go back on.

I get they would have said he can't do anymore damage but Cameron was useless due to the injury when he came back on

I've got no issue with I'm having a sook about the sub rule. No sub rule means they still would have had 4 available on the bench while he was being assessed. It is and always has been a stupid rule

Just added it to the list created by SHocking

Don’t forget he also hit his head in that same collision with danger and there was no concussion test done.
