I'm going to stick up for the captain.

I thought he tried hard all game under relentless pressure.

He has almost zero support out there on the field .

DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Refrained last week cannot this week

Astbury 3 losing his opponent is a real worry

Rance 7 easily best of our players last night

Vlastuin 2 disposal has gone backwards, ditto decision making

Houli 3 shocker

B. Ellis 1 not going to bother repeating myself, never been a fan last night should have showed the world why

Grigg 0.5 was he on the ground

C. Ellis 3.5 looks unfit and at times slow but when he gets it right his disposal is very good. Must keep playing him, no matter what

McIntosh 6.5 think he has found his spot, at least he runs both ways

Lambert 2 kicked the 1st goal then what

Martin 5 struggling to impose, tried to create things though no support.

Moore 0.5 see comments on other threads. in a word terrible

Riewoldt 6 was OK - tried to creat but slow ball movement is not helping him at all. At least he continues to run both ways to try and create

Lloyd 2 cameo king 2

Vickery 2 the original cameo king

Hampson 1.5 whatever

Edwards 3 good third but shocking for the other 3

Cotchin 5.5 tried hard but last night dinky short kicks seemed to be replaced with floating handballs. His disposal last night was poor

Rioli 6 best thing to come out of this season thus far

Menadue 2 since round 1 has been average now seems to moving towards ordinary

Hunt 1 - hmmm at least he was better last night than he was round 2 only just

Lennon 3.5 plonk him in a spot and leave him there and let him play & see how he goes.

Ashbury 2  - too slow and his decision making is poor

Rance 8 -  Herculean effort against tidal wave of forward 50's by the WCE

Vlastuin 2 - worst game I've seen from him. Has lost confidence totally. Doesn't seem to know what to do when he gets the ball anymore.

Houli  1 - fumbled and could not hit a target all night and he is supposed to be the go to man to kick it out.

B. Ellis 1  - another game where he refused to put his body on the line.

Grigg 1  - worst 150th game in history.

C. Ellis  2 - Play him in the middle or on the wing because he is not a defender but at least I can see upside.

Macintosh 5 - Makes a few too many errors but at least he has a dip. Why can't he stick a tackle though?

Lambert 3 - Only gave him this because of his goal. Forwards did not see the ball in the first half but did get 3 goals from only 8 entries.

Martin 5 - tried hard but was completely swamped

Moore 0 - no impact, no chasing, no desire.

Riewoldt 7 - tried his guts out and kicked 4 goals from limited opportunities.

Lloyd 3 - worst game for the year but still kicked 2 from limited opportunities

Vickery 1 - showed no physical presence for a 200cm player. Just weak.

Hampson 1 -  He was injured last week in front of me. Copped another cookie too. Definitely not the future.

Edwards 2 - crap game from one of our top players

Cotchin 6 - played his guts out but has the worst case of tigeritis I have seen. Hope it isn't fatal.

Rioli 6 - most exciting player in the side. That is an indictment on the club as he has only played 3 games and looks like he is in year 10 at school.

Menadue 2 - supposed to have elite speed but never shows it. I would persist though.

Hunt 0 - should never play in the side again. Sorry mate but you just don't offer us anything.

Lennon 3 - needs to be played for the rest of the year.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.
