With both Newman and deputy Nathan Foley out of the side, Brett Deledio will act as captain.

Top Pic.

Lids should be made captain, permanently. he is our future.

Newman should be offloaded to the Blues to play with his mate
Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

I am not suppose to say this because it seems to upset some but I would have given Lids the captains gig this year

And one of the main reason was for all the reasons people sometimes criticise for - the 1% etc - as captain I reckon leadership can improve those things instantly

Agree Lids should be captian permanently.

He is only 22 but who gives a poo.Clearly he is our best player at the moment excluding Cuz of course.

Carey was made captian at North at 21 in 1993 and it didn't stifle his footy it actually enhanced his footy and generated an even bigger on field aura.

I think it will take Lids footy to the next level. :thumbsup

I think that carrot was off. What a night to lead the side for the first time :help. Browny had to push Lids forward to lead the side out after half-time IIRC.

I thought it was cousins doing the pushing. Not a good sign from Deledio, leaders usually want to go to war and head into the contest, Deledio was looking for his plane ticket to come home.
