Interesting to see who will come out of that side actually, looks pretty close to having all our main players in that will play round one, bar Polak. Might wan't to play the bets of that lot and include some of the newbies to see where we are at playing the Cats. Interesting to see Polo out too!!

And we won't have our full side and it's a practice match and it's in the middle of woop woop and it's still Feb.  Anyone putting more than a poofteenth of relevance on the outcome is kidding themselves.  Like the first game I just want to see what the kids have to offer.

Agree smokey

I actually put less relevance on this than round 1 of the NAB

Team like Geelong treat these games as what they are; PRACTICE games, they experiment with youngsters, give older players different roles.

We should be using this game to, to continue to work on the new game plan

Would expect evey bloke on our list to play in these games before the season proper

So, what players have they got out compared to us, we have nearly a full strength side and they are minus most of their main players. I am not treating this game anything other than a practice match and I didn't say anything that would indicate other wise. All I said is with the amount of players they have out compared to our side we should beat them,. Play the youth ra ra ra we all know that, everyone has been saying that since half way through last year.  :thumbsup

Tucky left out and still no sign of Jordie. Not good signs for them given this seems a strong side this week. Both seem on the outer to Hardwick's youth policy. Rance dropped too. Obviously paying for last week's display. Polo, Whitey and Collo left out as well. Astbury I would've kept in as he showed something against the Hawks and as a newbie the extra gametime would've done him good.

Hopefully some more of the first year draftees get a go on Saturday like Taylor and Webberley.
