why bother Lyon?  8)
Why write an article Cotchin and Martin being better off at another club?

Well sorry, but they would be.
Thats reality.
Imagine if both were at Brisbane or the Bulldogs

Better off for the next 1-2 years, but worse off for the following 10 years. Missing out on playing in front of huge crowds at the G every week in the future compared to decent crowds. No they would not be better off at another club  8)

Why would they be worse off for the following 10 years, seeing its a National Comp :banghead
Huge crowds at the G  :banghead Pointless if you cant win a game

we are going to win 2 or 3 flags in the next 10 years according to Mr Gale  :shh

in front of 75k Richmond members at the G

Wouldnt think so.
Especially when the draft is stuffed for the next period of time due to GC and GWS.
And we have a list of duds,
Good luck,
Should of beena 20 year plan, but some of us will be dead by then

You're the last person I'd speak to in regards to our list and future. You really don't know our list very well and you're just another ultra negative tiger fan who's brainwashed from the last 28 years with only 2 finals series to show

jack wouldnt know jack about anything...what I can tell you straight from the horses mouth is that this years trade period will be at unprecedented levels as clubs look to weather the next two years. If that means a step up from the likes of Burgouyne, Jolly, Bradshaw, Hall, Fevola, Seaby, McGlynn then we will be in a commanding position to either fuel the frenzy by trading for picks or leverage our likely bottom placed position. we couldnt possibly be better placed  :thumbsup :gotigers :thumbsup

lol. Hilarious. We might as well delist the other 32 then. Pathetic call.  8)
If you followed any other team who had a young list like ours you'd be exactly the same only to realise that at least 30 of those players had a future

And Hodge and Mitchell would have been better off playing for Collingwood in 2003 or Corey and Enright at North in 2000 ::).

Wow Garry the whole purpose of the draft in theory is the the better kids end up at the poorer clubs  :wallywink. What a riveting article  :sleep. Two wins against winless clubs and Lyon thinks his beloved Dees are already top 8 material.

Tom Scully will become a Richmond player at some point IMHO- and itll be sooner rather than later. Garry Lyon should be more worried about how his club is gonna keep scully.

Oh yeah, Rookies, now lets see? mmmmmmmm Hicks , Nah, Westoff, nah
Where on earth do you find a dozen ?
Keeping in mind that Graham, McMahon, Polak ,Browne havent played and this year, and the first 3 are clearing NOT UP TO IT.
Browne needs to keep improving
HICKS will never EVER play AFL football, and thats a waste of a rookie spot.
