In: Cousins, Browne
Out: Rance, Vickery

Cale Hooker already looks to miss next week for the Bombers and all their other injured players won't be back for next week either
Hille has also been reported for high contact on Goddard too

Not sure I agree with Vickery out Inf, I think I know your reasoning behind it but might as well leave him in for the rest of the year unless he needs a rest!! Rance tried his guts out today, it's just a pitty his disposal lets him down.

If we had Cousins in today we would have won IMO.

Hard to pick outs this week, however Hawks have bugger all rucks they smashed us in the ruck (Renouf 23/Skipper 19 Vs Graham 16/Vickery 7)

Gus Graham did a fair bit up forward and with a more mature body deserves to keep his spot. Vickery has played 8 games on the trot this year, including playing as #1 ruck last week, he's only 19 so I think he could have a spell. We don't want to run him into the ground, so let him either have a rest week or a week at Coburg and give young Browne the #2 spot for a week or two to see where he's at.

I think we leave the team as is with perhaps the exception of Polak who, while giving us an addition tall target up forward, was barely sighted and missed a crucial mark 30m out from goal directly in front which then cost us a quick goal up the other end. He also missed a sitter 5m out where all he had to do is find his foot with the ball but couldn't get his act together - any other player in the team would have kicked that goal. He took two nice grabs outside the 50 but overall he did little but take a defender. I would much prefer to see Astbury back or even bring Browne in to rotate with Gus in the forwardline and ruck.

Hardwick had good things to say about Polak in his press conference so I don't expect him to be dropped.

I think we'll need Farmer to play on one of Essendon's small forwards too

Sometimes a player's value cannot be guaged by kicks, handballs & marks. They have a role, they do it, they keep their spot.

Polak had his role, played it perfectly and as result it took a helluva lot of pressure of Jack R. A couple of times they didn't know which forward to go with Polak, Gus or Jack

Polak stays  ;D

INS: Cousins, Polo, BrownE

OUTS: Rance, Vickery (needs a rest), Jackson (likely suspension) and if he doens't get rubbed out I'd drop Nahas (was disppointed with him going to ground today)

You were at Coburg - I'd call it disinterested - well that's how it looked

15 very good minutes in the 2nd quarter. Apart from that the same problem he's had all season ...LACK OF INTENSITY  :banghead

Given he was named in the bests and most reports on him were positive, I'd say your alone in that view

Browne was crap.  'named in the bests' give me a break.  It's like a bloody junior encouragement award sometimes.

as for morton, if he dont give a toss he should be sacked now
