By all reports Blinga will play this week so the only forced omission is Jackson. I would drop White and bring Cousins in to replace him and Polo to act as our tagger. Can't think of anyone else who could take up the role?  ???

White just had one of his best games for the club, why would you drop him now?
Don't think Polo's done anything to deserve an instant recall

In: Cousins, Post
Out: Jackson, Vickery

Vickery needs a spell. One kick last week. Needs to get his hands on the football at Coburg. Need to see if Post can step up. May as well throw him in.

Only because he is the weakest link in our midfield chain at the moment and Cousins inclusion over him would add additional class. If White can tag I'd be all for him to step into Jackson's role but otherwise we need a tagger and Polo is the only other player I can think of who has successfully fufilled the role, even if he doesn't deserve the call up.

Perhaps rather than bringing in a midfielder to replace Jackson we go taller, include Browne in the forwardline rotating with the other two rucks, and bring one of our smaller forwards up the ground when required. Just a thought.

Jackson hasn't exactly been playing as a tagger lately anyway
Personally I'd rather take on the Dons midfield on their merits, try and make them tag us

Post doesn't deserve a game based on his recent form at Coburg. I think to play him would send a very poor message to the other players who are actually bothering to bust a gut at Coburg and doing all the right things.

IMHO Post's biggest problem is his lack of intensity not just at the contest but in general and because of this lack of intensity the defensive side to his game is almost non existent

Agree regarding Vickery

He's not, the only reason he won't play for Coburg this week is because they have a bye
May even get a call up for Richmond, you never know

Graham didn't deserve a game last week based on form. Sometimes you just need to throw tham in and see what they do.

Quiet rumour or two that may debut this week which would be staggering, but at  the same time, not so staggering seeing as Dimma likes to throw them in.

Very staggered if that happens, very very staggered indeed.

Well going by what the kid himself said at the pre-match last week he's been told that he'll be coming back via Coburg and needs a few weeks there to get some match fitness up and test the shoulder.

Agree about Graham but with Simmo being the liability that he sadly is at the minute they really had little choice seeing they wanted to expose the Dawks lack of rucking options

Just think that there are players who deserve an opportunity ahead of Post, remembering that Post was given games earlier in the season that weren't really warranted and he didn't seize his chance then

(Out) In

(Jackson - Susp.) Collins

(Rance - Omitted) Astbury

(Farmer - Omitted) Morton

(Tambling - Inj.) Polo

 :)

Sorry torch but based on the "efforts" for Coburg last Saturday neither Morton or Collins deserve a game this week.

Hislop & King deserve a game more than Morton and Collins

yes, they don't. i would give them a "do or die" match!

tell them, you are on your edge, because it seems Hardwick isn't rating Morton!

he may not deserve a game but how many genuine kpds do we have in our system.
post needs games this yr just like vickery martin  cotchin astbury connors collins dea  etc . its not about deserving games for us each week sheesh if that were the case we would go in with 10 players no its about the experience  and getting games into them where possible.
many here disagree but for me at least 2 of our regular tall defenders has to go we have to find better.  the only way to do this is find out if what kids we do have are up to it.or show signs they are up to it. atm i dont have a problem with post in fact unlike many i reckon hes real promising despite some concerns.
