Agree with claw. Getting experience into them, testing them out is the way to do it. Keep Vickery in. Try Post. Centre half back is a problem area for the team

Think you might have mis-read, WAT.  elim to me is saying Post needs AFL experience to really test him out.

Personally I think he needs to show some improvement at Coburg first as his urgency and effort early in the year while playing for Richmond was deplorable and I've heard no better reports about his Coburg form.  All we ask for is to do his best at every contest yet he has that element of laziness about him.

Got to lift, does young Postie.  It's the only thing keeping McGuane in the team ahead of him imo, because McGuane clearly gives a stuff but Postie is the man with more atheticism and talent imo.  He'd want to hurry up if he wants to get in because by round 11 he'll also have the Goo to contend with who will be looking for his debut.

Ah very good I apoligise. :thumbsup, I do think he needs to lift at Coburg first too before he gets a shot in the RFC team.

I think the bottom line is the Key Performance Indicators that Hardwick has set. It seems that any player, regardless of who they are, has to fulfill these basics that Hardwick wants , or no game.
Has been emphasised once again in the Webberly interview.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Very good, we need to stick to it, well Hardwick does.

1 do those kpis apply to those already in the side. if so why not drop an under performing senior for a kid where the learning curve at the least would be good for their development. senior or junior either way if both arent meeting kpis  the benefit has to be the experience the kid will gain. we saw under both spud and wallace the folly of persevering with seniors who dont meet those kpis what the stuff kpis are we yanks,  anyway we all saw the folly of persevering with seniors rather than giving A kid a go.
2 so few at the club meet what i call important kpis we would not be playing 22 each week.
3 with some kids not all its more about development than weather they deserve or have done enough at the lower level. with so few quality players at our club it rings more true than at other clubs.

Agree.  It is a common line through most interviews with any number of players or coaches.

We can't be serious about winning with that side. How can you leave Polo and Collins out while Farmer and Rance stay in?

I wish Post all the best and hope he succeeds. I believe that Hardwick is the man to stamp out any laziness in Post
