Good form on it's way
« on: May 20, 2010, 08:28:35 PM »
We are starting to get close to the best 25 out there on game day. Reiwoldt and Astbury the 2 key forwards. Graham back in the team makes us a better team. As well as Foley who both help improve the clearance rate. Taylor and Griffiths have a slight injuries but they will be in the forward line pretty soon. Morton will come back a better player once he shows a few more one percenters. Connors will be back soon and Deledio should go back into the middle again. Looking forward to Post and Gourdis adding height and strength to our defence soon too. Webberley has made an immediate impact and Nason is going along nicely. Ever since Round 4 we've been a better team with the debuts of Astbury, Taylor and Webberley and the returns of Foley and Graham. All 5 filling vital positions on the ground which we missed from Round 1-3. With the steady improvement in all of the kids each week we have got to the point where we can play 4 quarters and be more than competitive in every position. I think Post and Connors in defence are our next changes to the team which will take us to the next step. I think Moore and Tuck will be the next players to make way. Can't wait until Griffiths makes his debut. All those journalist and media clowns will do a 180 on us and be saying what a good future we have. They should have thought about that before opening their mouths  8)

You sound like Wallace.  How about we make these types of posts when we've actually won something.  Don't get ahead of yourself.

After 7 losses to start the season at an avg of 63 points a loss we lose one by 3 points and our avg losing margin in 8 games is still 54 points.

There are some good signs but bear in mind we have played the two worst performed sides in the past fortnight.

Still a long way away from a win.

For me it is critical to see how the team performs against Essendon after a 4 quarter effort against the Hawks. Need to start well to have any chance of success against the Bombers. We have a very long way to go. Still very early days but agree there sre some promising signs.
