ok agree great opportunity for a new sponsor to come on board ,what appears to be a club on the march..however why did both our major sponsors downgrade at the same time? surely this question needs answering

In part because their contracts expire at the end of this season. And as I said before maybe we are looking for a bigger outlay and they aren't in a postition to increase their commitment.

From a timing perspective this is also good, important to know one way or another their plans and our requirements for 2011 and beyond.

It enables us to hit the market running when we are playing good footy and our media is all positive; simply we have a product that is currently attractive. Another win for the Club

As I said previously we have the added bonus of both DSmith & LuXbet staying which is a good thing as well

And just on an aside I can think of 2 companies that I'd look at talking to straight away  ;) Hint they used to sponsor a certain Melbourne based NRL club and they pulled their $$$ after a certain salary cap scandal  :whistle :whistle

Rumour from Dice Man on BF ....

Koo Ga is a definite. I know a guy who works for them and they have been hosting Richmond and visa versa for months.

The gear is already being made. Ive seen a couple of shirts(the guy is mad richmond) and they look pretty cool actually.. with retro 80s Tiger logos).

Would love to know how the gear is already beng made when we don't have a major sponsor for 2011.

Apparel sponsors make the "on Field" range that the players wear and it usually doesnt get made until sponsors are locked away

Will be interesting to see if they say anything about it tomorrow evening

And just on KooGa - if the Bulldogs range is anything to go by ...well....er.... what Ramps said  ;D

idiot Smith/ Luxbet/Tabcorp were a community partner in 2012, we're hopeful idiot Smith stays aroud and we're already looking at partners to replace Tabcorp for 2013 and beyond.
