Is he a Dimma sort of guy? Reckon his ego would be to large. Not saying that's a bad thing just not right for our club.
Does he have the skills to coach. A lot of the stars seem to make average or bad coaches. Get the feeling that footy comes so naturally to them they don't really know what they do that makes them special so they find it hard to pass the knowledge on.
It's the middle of the road players that have to work really hard for everything they get and who struggle with their game to get the best out of themselves, who make great coaches. Malcolm Blight, Lee Matthews and Kevin Sheedy are obvious exceptions though Blight went a little mad in the end.
Was Sheedy a really gifted footballer or was he an honest battler in a champion team? I'm asking because I can't remember. All those guys seemed like superman to me as a 7 year old.
