Compared to Last Week....
« on: July 09, 2011, 10:00:44 PM »
What margin do you think Carlton would've beaten us this week?
I think 5/6 goals at half time and maybe within 3/4 goals at 20 minute mark of 3rd qtr before losing by 70/80. Our lack of fight was Wallace-esque.
GC would win on tonight's overall effort and will
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

look on the bright side. if carlton had played essendon they would have lost by 40 odd points

Ablett went off injured for the Suns, so we might have a chance next week if he doesn't play.

The margin last week would've been the same tonight. Carlton came to play and applied intense pressure for the whole 4 quarters. We just fall apart under that intense pressure. Too many Tigers go missing and their skills fall down badly when the game goes up a notch. We need 22 contributors to just be competitive.

Carlton are a six goal better side than Essendon. Carlton beat us by 103 and should've been by 120+ after they took their foot our throat and we kicked some junk time goals.
What's 80 points what's 120 points. Its a smashing and a % booster for the other side.
Right now I feel as empty as I did last week even though the margin was 10 goals less.

So do we "bin" this game too?
Or bin the 2nd half?
Or bin the last Qtr?

It really just shows up what a stupid decision it was to not review the Carlton game.

The issues are bigger than the coach but he needs an experienced man alongside him to help in these situations.
