Which of the last two losses is worse?
« on: July 10, 2011, 03:47:14 PM »
Been thinking about this last night and today.

I know we got belted by 100pts last week, but we were never in the game and didnt turn up to play, players gave up etc.

Last night i know we didnt play fantastic footy even when we were in front, half way through the 3rd we were basically 4 goals up and had dominated the qtr. We should have been up by atleast 6 goals at that point.

To basically just hit a wall and be outscored by 10 goals after that really hurts in my opinion.

Do you think last nights los was worse than the Carlton loss?

Nothing in my history of supporting Richmond will ever be as low as the 100 point loss to Carlton.

That was as bad as it gets for mine.

The Carlton game was worse we were just training dummies in that game for the full 4 quarters.

We were only training dummies last night for 1.5 quarters.

Carlton game by a long long way, which is probably why I am so non-plussed about yesterday's result

Last night showed me (actually re-enforced) how far we still have got to go. We had the Bombers on the ropes, just needed the knock out blow and we couldn't deliver. Disappointing.

Personally though the game was gone at 3/4 qtr time even though we stull had the lead

To concede the last 10 goals was shocking but at least (apart from the last 40 mins) the effort for the most part was there
