yeah it said looking to raise another 2 million - I'd assume that means it was a 2million dollar sponsorship?

Going by newstext.com.au which archives every online News Ltd story, the paper version of the Herald-Sun has the word "tonight" added on the end:

"RICHMOND has secured a major sponsor for the front of its jumper just a week before its Round 1 clash with Carlton at the MCG - and hopes to raise another $2 million tonight."

I hope you're right. That is pretty good money, much better than our last deal.

Dimma's new vehicle  ;D

That was quick work  - Wouldn't mind one of those.
Jeep should seriously consider pumping out a couple hundred, reckon they would go like cakes.

LOL at the MCG carpark filled with Tiger Jeeps. That would freak out all the MCC/Dees supporters in their Range Rovers and Volvos.

I laughed at the post on BF saying round 1 will now be Jeeps vs Tanks  :lol

Well done Tigers

Bring on the new KooGa merch  :thumbsup

Although technically the HUNs article is wrong. RFC website say the deal is for at least 2 years, while the HUN says 3 years

In real terms this means the deal is for 2 years with an option of a 3rd  ;D

lets hope this is wrong figure and that GGs figure is correct, if its only 700k a year then theres a serious problem at the club IMHO. It should be double that which puts it where GG has the amount as being. In relative terms what does a Jeep Grand Cherokee cost $60k maybe $70k or say a Jeep Wrangler $30k maybe 40k. In effect Jeep and Chrysler just have to sell 10 to 12 Grand Cherokees a year to Richmond supporters to get there money back on 700k a year. On a risk reward its a great investment for them even at $1.5 million a year all they have to sell say 15 Grand Cherokees and afew Wranglers and they'll come out in front. When there marketing to a club which has 600,000-800,000 supporters Australia wide, then the odds are pretty good for them. Im therefore hoping that the $700k figure is wrong and that the $1.5 million a year is the correct number as that would be more to real value for both parties. And thats before any media exposure and marketing done for them by the club, corporate boxes and other sponsorship benefits.
