Is this the final year of Toyota's sponsorship of the AFL? Interesting that Jeep (RFC) and Skoda (GWS) have been allowed to sponsor clubs this year when the AFL usually makes a fuss about potential conflicting sponsors with its own.

Why the club get a car manufacturer as major sponsor?

AFL and Adelaide and west coast has Toyota
Geelong has Ford
Carlsum and the lions has Hyundai ( and A-league)
New-South-Wales-Waratahs & Nth Melbourne have Mazda
Melbourne Storm has Suzuki.

What of Mitsubishi or Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge or Kia or Holden?

I don't want to blow my horn but I reckon Benny was reading my post. :gotigers

WOW,good call Mr Tigra.
thanks smasha. If Ive got any other good ideas I'll be sure to let Benny know..... You got his number?
The club that keeps giving.

Cheers TA. It makes things easier without the AFL poking their noses in.

Jeep Ready To Roar With Richmond Tigers
The Auto Channel
SYDNEY – March 17, 2011:

In a landmark statement for the iconic brand, Jeep has just signed on for a major partnership with the Richmond Tigers Football Club.

With the SUV brand’s logo emblazoned on the front of the legendary club’s guernsey for at least the next two years, Jeep has joined Richmond as a co-major Partner of the Tigers.

Celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, Jeep is surging forward with award-winning recent product development and aggressive new marketing strategies, with the Richmond partnership being a sensational element of that progress.

“There are few clubs with the rich history of Richmond, and even fewer automotive brands with the history of Jeep” said Sam Tabart, General Manger of Marketing for parent company Chrysler Australia.

“Our approach is one of passion and strength with the mantra ‘Don’t Hold Back!’, so what better fit for Jeep than Richmond Football Club, whose positive, professional approach and membership dedication is something we are extremely excited to be a part of.”

The announcement comes on the back of a productive pre-season off the field for Richmond, which has also formed new partnerships with ME Bank, Clive Peeters, Signet, KooGa and second co-major Partner, Bingle car insurance.

“Partnering with Jeep is a fantastic step forward for the Richmond Football Club, which adds to the excitement among our members and fans as we head into a new season,” CEO Brendon Gale said.

“We are thrilled and proud to be associated with such a strong and exciting brand in Jeep. There is a great fit between our organisations, the exciting journey we are on and our ambitious plans for the future.”

They do
IE9 is great and even IE8 when in the hacking comps is far harder to crack than browsers like Safari.

I'll back my Linux and Firefox against your Windows and IE all day Inf.

Of course, having already paid for your insecure OS, you could then spend more money on AV software to bring yours up closer to my standard.   ;D
