Richmond is confident of being able to win its last four matches Daryl Timms

August 07, 2012 11:29AMIT looms as mission impossible, but Richmond forward Robbie Nahas says the Tigers still haven't given up hope of extending their season into September.
But he concedes that everything would have to go right for the Tigers in the last four rounds of the home and away season, and a lot would need to go wrong at the top end of the ladder.
He said before training at Victoria Park today that the next four games were all winnable, starting with the Western Bulldogs this weekend.
"We definitely want to go out there and play well and give our fans something to look forward to," Nahas said.
"We know we have to win every game and sides above us have to fall over a little bit, but if we continue to play well and just work out what we have to do, hopefully it works out."
Nahas, who has played all 18 games this season, said the players still had the same attitude in all games and were not easing down because of the side's position on the ladder.
"We still believe that we are a chance," he said.
"We don't go out thinking we'll give it our best shot because there are no consequences."
Nahas said it was never nice to see someone -- Port Adelaide coach Matthew Primus -- lose their job over bad performances.
Primus parted company with Port after losing on the weekend to Greater Western Sydney.
"Gold Coast beat us twice in the past two years which was unfortunate for us," Nahas said.
"We understand it's a pretty cut throat industry and you have to be on your game to continue to play well and to continue to keep your job.
"You don't go out thinking a bad performance is going to give your coach the sack. But you always know there is always consequences to your actions and if you are not playing well there is always a chance that you'll get dropped or you could be rested."
Richmond assistant coach Ross Smith has been linked as a candidate for the Port job and while Nahas said he was a fantastic bloke, he pointed out it wasn't up to him to talk about Port Adelaide as he just wanted to focus on the Tigers.
