I can't believe  it! Oh hang on, yes i can.
The usual what if scenarios will now be played out in everyone's mind.
At least we fought back when clearly we didn't have the skill to execute properly.
But when we boil it all down, one quarter of footy beat us again.

would love to know what the rule is when the ball hits the goal umpire?
that turd must of known the ball hit him which is what prevented it from crossing the line?
poxy cheating piece of crap. surely it should have been a goal?

According to rules the umpire is an extension of the post

What is wrong with our coaching staff  - why wouldn't they drop players behind the ball

Shouldn't need a coach to tell the players that they need to flood back, it's common sense.

For something they apparently focused on during the pre season it again shows our deficiencies under pressure,  not enough smart football brains I'm afraid.

You maybe right al but White's next goal made that irrelevant to the result.

Two things:-
Fremantle supporters are the most ignorant, stupid afl followers in the world and that includes Sydney, Brisbane and NZ. Morons.
Mr Tigra,p you got the tackling and the pressure and we still lost!

We can talk about it all we like and what happened.
Two things stand out.
1. Whites kick hits the goal ump and its going in- point
2. In the first Rance smothers in the square falls to Mayne goal.

we were stupid not being goal side.
Trent slide was that a free. Malakies.
Rance some bloopers there in the first half. Had a better second half but anyway.

What hurts is a one point loss and brings us back in the pack. Makes the Port game critical now.
Still can't gamoto win a game against Ross Lyon. This is gonna hurt for a while lads.

A seriously much better effort Y & B and just as well too because they would've won by 10 goals hadn't we lifted in that area and with a bit more composure and smarts we could've pinched it.

The ball hitting the goal umpires leg certainly looked dubious, he seemed far enough away from the goal post for it to look like it would have been a goal, and a goal then changes the whole complexity of the game.

And I agree, where was our crumbing forward at the back of the pack, would have been the easiest goal of the year, as well as the winning goal.

Unfortunately tonight's game cost us 8 premiership points, no way can I see us backing up against the cats next week. At 3 and 3 we are right back in the pack and looking at 9th spot yet again. Having said this I was impressed that we didnt throw in the towel and fought it right out, still a very disappointing loss all the same
