Freo looked great. I love how they leave their man to take the risk to go to the contest, knowing that his teammate behind him will cover his opponent. It's like playing with an extra man if you can get it right.

Watching Buckley behave like an uncontrollable, petulant child is satisfactory viewing to say the least.

I treated myself to a bag of microwave popcorn and a pitcher of coola cordial with ice just to add to the pleasurable experience. What a night.

Freo only looked good once colonwood threw in the towel.
We can smash that Lyon coached team.
Bring it on.
Just rove to Gulliver....who can only play a half if footy because he's such a giant freak.
I suggest standing on his ties at boundary throw ins.

Why does the media continue to celebrate that feral piece of poo Joffa? Surely they're aware of what he's really like and how he really carries on?  Everyone who's ever come within 50 feet of him on gameday at a Collingwood match is aware of it.

A mixture of anger and denial from Pie fans after last night's smashing ...

Most enjoyable game of football.

Can't wait for Monday to ask the Pies supporters at work, in a quiet serious tone, what they thought of the game.

:lol

Gotta love Eddie, he has rooted his club putting Bucks in as Coach and he has rooted Carlton by getting rid of Malthouse.

One bright note for the Pies was young Langdon.

Looked composed and talented.
Yeah we're already going to vote for him mate, you don't need to keep selling it.....

Difficult 2 months of football ahead for the pies:-

R2. Sydney
R3. Geelong
R4. RICHMOND
R5. North
R6. Carlton
R7. Essendon
Bye

Youd wonder at this stage whether theyll start favourites in any of those.

Could be 2 and 5, 1 and 6 or even 0 and 7, with their season over before the bye

Yep, withstood the wave of attack.

The only positive of the night for the Pies.

For the rest of us just positive after positive  :clapping

Might have a new name but still the same crap player. Good when things are going well, crap when things are well crap  ;D

Fantastic start to the season.
Reminded me of our Round 1 debacle in 2009.
Could not happen to a more deserving footy club.
