I believe Roos said a similar thing to his players just before the Tom Hafey match.

North beat the Hawks tonight by 20. They had a 15 minute burst in the 3rd qtr, similar to what they did against us, kicking 6 quick goals in a row. The media though will focus on Lake (who lost the plot tonight) putting the choker hold on Petrie while pinning him down.

seriously with who the hawks had out, a 20 point win is the absolute minimum they should have expected.

Should Clarkson have come back through the twos?

GC beat collingwood without a bench for basically the entire last quarter. Clinton Young dropped a sitter that would of put them in the front with only minutes left.

Ablett popped his shoulder out in the 3rd quarter and didnt return to the field.

Gutsy win nonetheless given their last quarter rotations and injuries. Courageous to say the least.

Always nice to see the Pies lose. ;D

Just so sad to see clubs speed past us in commitment skill and courage whilst we wither and wilt like an unwatered plant. :help

As much as I hate Collingwood, the manufactured success of these plastic clubs is not something to be celebrated.

Maybe so but you still have to admire the way they won tonight.
Regardless of the help they have received since inception they still had to go out and win tonight and despite the on field obstacles they faced tonight, injuries, unable to make rotations and a good quality opponent they did.

I hate the help they have got also given where we have been but our wounds are self inflicted for the most part. :help

That non free kick on Monfries resulting in a Port goal in the last was an absolute disgrace.
The umpiring of our game is appalling.
I hate Essendon anyway. Our game is in a terrible state and there are a lot of people disenchanted with it and it has nothing to do with the current plight of the RFC. :help

Port have now lost 3 of their past 4 games. Good timing for them that they get to play us next on the fast dry track of Etihad  :help.

Reckon Petrie should of been gone for one of the biggest dog tactics known to man. Also one could argue (I would) that he did that before the choke and probably made Lake decide to do it.
