Petrie, Harvey and Thomas are some of the biggest sledgers out. They do nothing but mouth off and snipe behind play all game but as soon as the heat comes on they are the first to have a cry to the umps or the coach (another sook).

Lake didn't practice his wrestling moves on Petrie for no reason. The smart arse started it and is too much of a poor excuse for a bloke to finish it.

Reckon Petrie should of been gone for one of the biggest dog tactics known to man. Also one could argue (I would) that he did that before the choke and probably made Lake decide to do it.

Petrie said in his evidence "he made contact with Lake’s face in a bid to push the Hawk off him “for his own safety”. And that "Petrie’s defence said the forward was “under attack” from Lake when the Hawk pinned him down on the Etihad Stadium surface"

(quotes from  http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/brian-lake-slapped-with-fourgame-ban-while-drew-petrie-walks-free-from-afl-tribunal/story-fni5f22o-1226980574821 )

Please give me a break, he went for the eyes, should have been suspended end of story. Lake copped his right whack but Petrie is very lucky.

Perhaps Lake should have argued he protecting himself as well  :-\

And big bad Scott comes sooking to their defense for them. Bloke is the biggest sook in the AFL

Yep even if he went for the push but got him in the face isn't that reckless under their guidelines? Negligent at a minimum. Once again I'll say I don't believe the first time he got Lake was even in defense and that he started the scuffle by going for the eyes.

Jeez the difference between the way both Hawthorn's & Adelaide's forward lines function compared to ours is stark.

So true. It's all about effort and development, 2 things the RFC game no idea about

 :rollin @ Razor Ray.

He thinks the siren has gone and then when the other ump tells him it hasn't Ray exclaims "Holy Geez!"  :rollin.

No going nowhere ring-a-rosy handball. Both teams tonight kick long and direct to their key forwards. We however play rugby instead - no forward of the ball structure so we run at the opposition then handball sideways & backwards to flat-footed teammates until the options run out and then it's a blind aimless kick forward under pressure which usually goes to the opposition for the turnover.

Hawks win 104-92. It will be hard for the Crows now to make the Eight.

Absolutely needs to quit acting and start taking responsibility in reinvigorating his lame list.

Totally agree Dooks. :thumbsup
