Thomas and Banfeild for mine. Miles unlucky, but Thomas is just ahead of him and we need Banfield's pace in the forward line I think.
Miles will get his chance down the track.

Banfield? Lmao. Nearly missed a sitter in the goal square because he's a gimp, and had one nice assist where he put his head over it. Nowhere near done enough. Behind S.Edwards, Lloyd and King.

Dimma plays S. Edwards up the ground. King is underdone. Lloydy is a chance but I think we are real slow at the moment and in desperate need of some pace. Banfield has plenty.
He came on late and did a couple of good things against the Dons.

Banfumbles is a liability and has only played VFL practice games with a very minor contribution to the senior side on Friday. About the same as King. Lloyd is ahead of both. Gordon as well.

Let's just forget about Banfield and hopefully he disappears in a sissy of smoke

Now Gerks, look at the thread topic. King, Lioyd and Gordon are NOT rookies and so are irrelevant to the argument.
They have the opportunity to elevate two rookies.  We all feel we need a hard nut in and under and that is why Thomas I feel is a lock.
The second player is what we are arguing about.  I personally feel Miles is the better footballer but Banfield may give us more of what we need - a fast crumbing forward.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

We should elevate Darrou then

Sure he's behind Chaplin, Rance, Grimes and Astbury but we might be able to play him as a small forward  ;D

Agree to disagree on Banfield then. I reckon he will be useful to us.

Thomas will become another Hardwick " love child " .

Has all the hallmarks....hard at it with poor skills.

Yes in that "world wide" sport of Australian Rules Football.

Calling Thomas' disposal merely "sketchy" affords it way too much credit.
