Why wouldn't you play Miles now he can be elevated? That's the strangest decision IMO??

Am I missing something? Is it to late this week or something to elevate Miles?  Or is this just dumb!

Predictable scapegoating of the usual fall guys.

Some apparently have to improve exponetially with each game they play from day one just to stay in the side, whilst others can serve up  crap for as long as they like. More important to prove you nailed those trades & high draft picks, that "moneyball" is a "success" and you were right to extend certain player's contracts than it is to develop players or try and actually pick the best side.

RFC - were mediocrity is its own reward.

WTF?

He played in forward line that never saw the ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A few times it came in so haphazardly that Jack Titus and Michael Roach would have had trouble getting their hands on the ball.  The other few times it was only kicked to Jack and Griff did the right thing and didn't compete with Jack, which is one thing that Tyrone does ALL the bloody time.
The rest of the time he played in the ruck and I thought was better than Hampson.

So what chance did he have?

Do you think Vickery grabbed anything in his two VFL games? He was ORDINARY to say the least.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

What a farce our club has turned into. 7 games ago we were walking out in a final with 100k and were looking like we had finally achieved some form of success. How quickly it has turned.

Griff has been superb thus far this year and we bring in effing Aaron Edwards who played around the ground for the 2s. Not to mention Vickery.

Absolute circus football department at Punt Road.  :rollin :rollin :rollin

Won't bother attending the game when we can't stand by a consistent selection policy.

Go Tigers!

hhhhaaaarrrggghhhhh hhhhhhaaaarrrrrgggghhhh hhhhhhhhaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh. oboy oboy the rabble footy club just became even more of a rabble. not even i thought it was possible.

sorry to say people but hardwicks reign is mirroring both frawleys and wallaces in almost every way.
this weeks team should look very close to this. there are no if buts or maybes. we just have to play younger blokes and see what they have to offer. we can no longer reward mediocrity.
trouble with this is we have to be prepared to lose games in the short term and they just arent prepared to do that.
it seems its better to do what we always do in playing mature mediocre players hoping things will be different rather than doing the hard yards with kids and untried players who just may have something more to offer in the long term.

fb/  morris - chaplin - rance
hb/ vlastuin - astbury - mcintosh
c/   deledio - martin - ellis, ellis very lucky.
hf/ gordon - griffiths - lennon
ff/  lloyd - riewoldt - a edwards
r/  hampson - cotchin - miles.
int/ arnot - jackson - conca - helbig

outs -  newman, s edwards, grigg, houli, mcdonough.petterd,  missed one out somewhere.
ins - rance, mcintosh, deledio, lennon,a edwards, miles, helbig.

Hilarious that the club comes under fire regarding drafting of recycled rubbish and we bring in 3 players who were drafted from other clubs.

Hilarious.

Hardwick is code for Softdick.
Vickery has been turning it on has he for the ressies?
Yes lets drop Griff because Ty's inclusion will be lost in the sea of 32 year skata cycle when the cats give us our annual ungloved and non lubed rectal exam.
Titch Edwards please?
Grigg see above.
Newman my 3 yr old daughter shows more leadership at kinder.
Chaplin yep aha aha.
Lets not promote Miles yeah can see the logic. :help
Why would'nt you bring back Rance and Lids after the bye? :-\
Heaven help the club if either Rance or Lids get injured on Sunday because of not being fully fit and the club smacking of desperation. May as well change the forum name to Chernobyl. Last week was just a standard 3 Mile Island.
Griff feel sorry for the kid. Honestly do.
Can now see why we land no big fish or go for them club wants success on the cheap and not prepared to sacrifice cash and preserve the status of some less than ordinary footballers.
Plop plop plop the 32 year skata cycle is in full swing. Finals footy sometime between 2022-25 if all things go as scheduled now and Dimma leaves some time during 2016 or at the end.
Dimwit philosophy from 2010 right out the window. Tokenistic but then again everything we do is.
