Looks to me that Hardwick is operating under the simple premise that if he gets the team back to similar if not the same personnel to last season then the results will follow. Unfortunately most of those players are out of form but it would appear that Hardwick stubborn as he is cannot see that through his rose coloured glasses. An absolute thumping from the Cats may sway him slightly but would still like to see what it would take for him to finally swallow some pride and drop Grigg and or S Edwards and then start getting more games into the younger brigade. Miles you would think will be elevated during the week and a good performance in the VFL would almost ensure his debut for the next game.

For the last few weeks I've been reading it as "the skata circle". Been picturing a group of blokes in a circle taking massive dumps. Only just realised you've been saying cycle.

Unbelievable. :chuck

Don't worry Coach I spelt it wrong in the post above yours after I've been writing it all week. :lol :rollin :lol

94 point defeat coming up.  >:(

Does that make you all tingly in the loins?

As BJ wrote in one of his posts recently "Im just keeping it real". Its not my fault we are a rabble. Its not my fault the people at the club dont know how to bring about success or get us good players and its not my fault that we have had 34 years of ongoing crap. The only people who can be proud of their contribution at Richmond over 34 years are the supporters who rattled tins to keep the thing afloat and who have paid millions upon millions of dollars year in year out to get better facilities for the staff and players and to pay for their over inflated wages and egos.

If it means getting a coach that has faith in youth on the list then yes - my loins are moist

Surprised there hasn't been more said about it but it's got me particularly flummoxed why we have brought Adwards back in favour of a Elton, McBean or O'Hanlon.
I just don't rate this bloke.

Maybe they see a flogging coming on and don't want to totally destroy the kids' confidence?

For what it is worth
Sneaky chance tomorrow
Think Structually we are better off as Vickery will be made to Ruck .so the permanent forward role has been thrown out the window
Martin will play on ball and not as a forward
Let's see what happens
Yes I will be there
Win lose or draw
Expect a win

I too have a feeling the game style we have been so graciously putting on display so far this year, might be thrown out the window, and we might see a more aggressive Richmond tomorrow.

Round 1 2009 we got flogged by the Blues by 83 points.
Round 2 we stayed in touch with the Cats at Kardinia Park had an 8 goal 3rd quarter and led by 1 pt at 3 qt time.
The Geelong end where all the RFC fans were in standing room was looking dumfounded. Including me. Some of us dared to believe given how we played in the 3rd.
In the last qt 2 mins in when I saw Bowden hold the ball up declaring tempo footy even though we kicked the first goal of the last quarter I knew we were gone. Ultimately we lost by 20.

Tomorrow may not play out like that but the result will and just like 2009 when the game is on the line and we need to stand up whether it be someone of some we will fade back to old habits and it will be a case of what might have been just like that day at Kardinia Park because it is inherent to our nature and intrinsic to our culture.

Because he. Had it on a string last week first game back from a lay off, had either of those rookies chalked up 26 touches8 or 9 marks and a couple of snags, yeah you re right, they'd be belting the door down for a spot too :shh

VFL is this 30yr olds level now. He'll soon enough be kicking bags in the country for years.
