Post-bye to the next bye - How many wins?
« on: May 11, 2014, 01:50:47 PM »
After this bye, we have the following nine games until the next bye. To turn around our season will come down to this block of games. Reality says we'll need to win six of the nine to at least square our ledger at 8-8.

Current Bye
9  Saturday,  May 17     Melbourne               MCG                     Home    1.40pm
10 Saturday, May 24     GWS Giants             Skoda Stadium        Away    1.40pm
11 Saturday, May 31     Essendon                MCG                      Away    7.45pm
12 Sunday,   June 8      North Melbourne      Etihad Stadium         Away    7.10pm
13 Saturday, June 14    Fremantle                MCG                      Home    1.45pm
14 Friday,     June 20    Sydney                   MCG                      Home    7.50pm
15 Saturday, June 28    St Kilda                  Etihad Stadium         Away    2.10pm
16 Saturday, July 5       Brisbane                 MCG                       Home    1.45pm
17 Sunday,   July 13      Port Adelaide          Etihad Stadium         Home    1.10pm
Next Bye

So how many of these games will we win up to the next bye?

agree may get 5 depending on how ess are traveling at the time. funny thing is for us there are no certainties.
relying on beating up on the weaker sides as usual to have any chance on finals.  still flat track bullies.

Reckon we can fluke 6 if we continue playing the footy we did in the 2nd half against Geelong

If we stuff that and go back to the crap we've played most of the this year then we might pick up 3 or 4

The Freo game is one where if we play "good" footy we are a show in

If the Port game was at the MCG then I reckon we might be tiny little show but at Etihad = no chance

I'd say we are a real chance to win them all. The only game I think we may be hard pressed to win is the Port game but I did vote for 7 wins as I think we will drop one of the North/Freo/Ess games too. I hope I'm right  :pray

I have us winning

Melbourne
GWS
Saints
Brisbane

and one of Freo or Essendon. Hopefully both. Hopefully all of them. But who knows. I think the most telling will be the dreamtime game.

How can you not throw the bombers in for a 5th win for us?? Did anyone see how they played against the Lions? They were terrible.
We would have to be a big chance against them.

Only because if the RFC that turned up against the Bulldogs comes to play. We will get flogged by the bombers and help their key players regain form.

All depends on which Richmond rocks up. I have hopes that we turned a corner against the cats. Fit Rance and Lids helps. Let's see....
