Vickery has earned his stripe  :clapping

Can't believe I am about to type this but I really think Tyrone could make it as a ruckman

Maybe the Ivan replacement is already at Tigerland?
I remain unconvinced, he rucked against a bloke we traded and look better for it but good on him. He has taken his chances.

True but his around the ground work was super impressive which gave him confidence when he went back to the forward line.

I've been one of his harshest critics but tonight he showed a glimpse of what could be if he's prepared to keep working hard

Reckon this sums up the game perfectly

From Twitter

@White_Adam: So bad and then so good. All rolled into two hours. That's classic Richmond. AFLSwansTigers

Yes you have and deservedly so but one things the Tigers have done from the coach down this year is silence a few critics. Well quieten them down at least.

His wet ball skills tonight & gathering of the ball in that 2nd half was a team lifter

His actual ruck work still has a long way to go but it's what he did around the ground,  through the middle and in traffic that was so impressive - was effectively an extra quality mid which is what you'd ideally want from a modern ruckman outside hit outs and kicking the odd goal. Its the kind of stuff Stynes used to do at his best.

That aspect of his game - has been quite good for many seasons

IMHO

Yes I've long been aware of it Judge, but he's only ever shown glimpses of it and certainly never enough to impact matches like he did tonight.

Credit where credits due, but Vickery was brilliant in the second half. We need more of this from him.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Rock solid from miles - never gave up
Super impressed with our ability to get the momentum back after halftime.
The old Richmond would have capitulated and lost by 40+

In all honesty the best thing to come of this is the potential free agents who we could acquire.

Well done tiges

This is a truly great win. Richmond is Improving. We need to keep on improving our list. GCS have stuffed up their recruiting, GWS will be alright but if we can bring in some big name talent that performs - over the next 2 trade period I can see the drought breaking in terms of silverware coming to Punt Road on the last day in September in the next 2 or 3 years.
