Why do we?
I don't mind either, i know people have a crack at Thomas for being slow but he gets alot of inside ball. With that being said, we upgraded on him with Miles and don't think we need to upgrade.
I do not know much about Short but looking at results, I think Thomas is the one if we need too!!

Leave it till George comes back form injury.  He was scintillating at times before he was injured.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Agree

He was close to promotion before injury, worth waiting for  :yep

Short, simply because I think the injection of youth into our side is paying big dividends.

Thomas as much as I think he's an honest footballer doesn't have a place in our firsts...

I watched one of the games Castagna played in against the Cats I think, his disposal let him down but his play, determination and gut running was brilliant. Wouldn't we spend the rest of the season getting those skills up a bit before promoting him?

Castagna has a lot going for him but I want him to spend the next 6 to 12 months getting his kicking right. His disposal on the run is poor. Get his kicking up to speed and he will be a player too. Short has a touch of class IMHO.

Thomarse is a slow hack who'll hopefully be delisted - unless half the side goes down, surely we're now past playing these kind of rejects.

Castagna - I dunno - he has a go, is fit, quick and tackles well but his kicking makes Taylor Hunt look like Nathan Buckley.

Short doesn't defend at all, but until Butler is fit & ready or Dan the Man delivers us one of Motlop, Yarran or Matera, is exacty the attacking option we desperately need up forward.

Short it is for me.

with Knights set to return from the LTI list, do we still have the option to upgrade?
