Thought he was poor to be honest.
The handball turnover that resulted in a goal was a momentum killer.
He always seems slow to get rid of the ball hence why he gets tackled and the Lions exposed this.
He’s a great player but just calling it as I see it.

I don't expect him to win the centre taps, never have

But at stoppages I felt for him constantly getting grabbed, having his arms locked and no frees.

Sorry, 1 free for that all night
Glad you noticed the holding in the ruck (after I pointed it out).  Its not often that I go for a conspiracy theory but I really feel we were just not supposed to win, the 'hair trigger' umpiring was just a part of it.  We got pinged for everything while Brisbane seemed to be immune to the same decisions.
The goal review in the last quarter with the worst footage since the moon landing (the moon landing footage from the 60's  was considerably better than the ARC footage from last night) was actually laughable!  Vlaustuin was adamant that he touched it off the boot but the only footage put up for review was taken from the far end of the ground!  Was that really the only footage?  Really?  Of course the blurry blobs from 150mtrs away weren't enough to overturn the decision ... game over ....
I could've shot better footage from 200mtrs away with a Super8 camera with my scarf wrapped around the lens!  Inconclusive?  Try 'outrageously incompetent'!  Try 'rigged'!

Toby Nankervis

When St Kilda had somewhat of a sniff at three-quarter time, the premiership Tiger put his hand up to win the battle in the centre, winning multiple huge clearances to ensure his club would head to South Australia with momentum .

He's intercept marking is massively underrated but he 'll need far more support in the ruck v Adelwood... :shh

Playing Chol would be leaving Nank by himself anyway.

Use broad in the backline, play Balta ruck.

Nank was great all game, but his last quarter reeked of leadership!  He just refused to be beaten & showed the way for the rest.  Close enough to BOG for me!     :clapping

Against Brisbane Chol only had 2 less hit outs than Nankervis in less than half the contests....Lynch & Riewoldt both playing also makes a difference.... :shh
