Ricky Nixon Interview
« on: October 06, 2017, 09:13:00 AM »
Hi all,

I had a interview with former player manager, Ricky Nixon last night.

https://youtu.be/kZeDKmYyCdg

I will say straight off the bat that after talking to him for 57 minutes I honestly feel he is a very changed man. Yes he made some mistakes in the past which he admitted to in his book. But he seeked help and I believe he is in a good place now and is back to doing what he is most passionate about, talking footy.

In the interview we spoke about:
 -His playing days
 -How Flying Start come about
-How he handled the big name players
-What happened when he found out about the Wayne Carey incident
-What happened with our Tony Lockett trade
 -Thoughts on Journos
 -Chris Yarran saga
 -Dustin Martin
-His darkest times and what got him through
-His online course on how to be a player manager
 -The Footy Factory
 -Myfootyagent
 -Ben Cousins
 -Trade talk

I found him to be extremely open, honest and friendly. was very easy to talk to and knows his stuff.

Did you ask him specifically about his affair with a seventeen year old little girl?

What about pleading guilty for assault of a female?

I'm not sure why you find this donkey relevant when we've just won a premiership and I could think of about 10,000 people more interesting that this peanut. Most irrelevant person in footy and would be better for football in general if he just disappeared and was never heard of ever again.

The club that keeps giving.
