of another teams song, just doesnt sit well with me. and i think someone
in JB's position should have thought about it before appearing.

I guess it's just further evidence that we will be denied any respect from outside until we start winning and playing finals.

yep agreed...i tend to agree about the respect only coming when we start to win big games or finals..

but i think this club should be respected regardless for the years in the system, our accomplishments etc and really i thought it was
disrespectfull using the themes tune..

perhaps im old fashioned but we as a club and supporters and the great players before
us should be respected regardless of current position..

I agree with all that rogerd3. It just goes to show the past 30 years has done a lot of damage regarding the Club's reputation and left us in the eyes of opposition supporters as the perennial joke of the AFL. We are seen as an easy target to poke fun at. The numerous articles this week after the Carlton loss from all over Australia by lazy journos regurgitating the same old crap only confirms that  .

Yes it is annoying but when a show on TV has run its race and it's only source of material left to humour the lowest common denominator is to poke fun at others while merely presenting a wonderful if not full picture of their own inabilities and frailties then let the masses have what they want for the time being.

Reality will hit the perpetrators right in the face and they can't run from the truth.

BTW I hate it when our boys are on there.

If I was Benny I would ban us from TFS and any correspondence on that show and only Benny to speak on MMM. No players or coaches.

I can recall the Swans a few years ago making a decision and refusing to answer any questions from one of the media outlets for a while, whilst they were feeling aggrieved about something written. Can remember Leo Barry politely declining any line of questions coming from that media outlet whilst openly providing answers to other outlets.
