3: Deledio- is so good you don't know where to play him on a night like this. Loved his explosive leads from full forward.
2: Tivendale- was as accurate with his kicking as I've ever seen him, not his fault that Schulz couldn't mark, he looked great tonight
1: Simmonds- just scrapes in for this.

3 - Deledio - I don't think i've ever seen a player that looks so balanced when he kicks the ball. Has lost a yard of pace with his extra bulk but still all class and will kick arrse for us this year and for many more to come.

2 - Brown - Absolutely wrapt with his comeback. Didn't show any effects of the brake and still has silky skills.

1 - P. Bowden - Still think he is a hack and a waste of a pick but was ok tonight.

3. Lids - for the reasons DC and John mentioned.
2. Simmonds - was quit in the second half like alot of his teammates but I thought he was very good in the first half.
1. Johnson - only midfielder who hit his targets.

Apologies to Richo who was getting the raspberry from stupid bulldogs supporters who decided to pick on him because he was playing in defence. At least he didn't give up.

And to Rainesy. Murphy finished on top but Raines wasn't disgraced. Bloody hard to be a defender when the ball is coming down with no pressure whatsoever.

1. Lids - Absolutely awesome, showed up Griffen's sorry arse IMO  :thumbsup
2. Simmo - Can hold his head up high, 3 goals break even in the ruck, good effort
3. P Bowden - Good debut in Richmond colours

Hopefully Rainesy will get the nod this week for the Rising Star nomination, excellent effort from him albeit a few turnovers

Voting suspended !
Interested to hear Tony Shaws thoughts.
He votes from 1-to 10
High Vote was a 4. Lids  Above 5 is a pass, below a failure.
1 is for turning up at the ground. we had four players who scored 1 , most had scored 2. Would think thats pretty well on the mark !

I think the best he could hope for is a vote from Moi lol, so here it is.

3 - P Bowden - thought he played 3 good quarters
2 - Brown - good comeback - didn't kick a goal but tried more than most
1 - Raines - encouragement vote - to hold down Murphy and limit the damage he could have inflicted on us was a great effort.  He would have been one player at least to say he either drew or won his position on the night.

I probably should have put Lids in, but not this time lol.  He'll get plenty from others and Rainsey won't.

3 - Tivendale - best game in 3 years by Tiv - good disposal and good decisions because he didn't try and do too much

2 - Deledio - tried and tried some more - also saw improvement in the defensive side of his game and that a bonus :clapping

1 - Raines - I thought he was very good against one the Doggies classiest players. Some of his one on one spoiling was fantastic I just hope Tezza takes the tape and shows a few others how you contest against an opponent :clapping

Special mention to Nathan Brown - excellent comeback and Richo for busting his gut again for no reward :clapping

The Golden Turnup (aka the Johnny Manton Medal) - so many contenders, so many this week who are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worthy  :banghead and seeing there can only be 1 nomination and I can not sepreate 3 blokes I will have to say PASS
