Doing our 'best' to throw away this test match :facepalm. Are our batsmen wearing cement shoes? :help

Worst one was Steve Smith, disgraceful shot in the circumstances, ditto Travis Head

And I actually feel for Mitch Marsh, horribly our of form with the bat coming in, can barely bowl more than 5 overs and they select him. So because they won't make tough decisions we've basically played one short in both batting and bowling all series and it's bitten us big time today

Aussies 9/228 at stumps.

A lead of 333 runs.

Our tail wagged which just further shows how embarrassing our middle order collapse was.

55 run unbeaten 10th wicket last stand between Lyon and Boland.

Labuschagne  70
Cummins  41
Lyon  41*
Boland 10*

The record for a run chase at the 'G is 332 runs (by England in 1928).

Hope Lyon gets a half century.

Cummins with a casual 90 runs at 45.00 this match.

Has turned into an interesting match indeed.

Reckon Cummins has been outstanding, brilliant leadership this test

Lead from the front

Not fussed if Lyon gets 50, just want him to get wickets

Step up

You’ve been ridiculously harsh on Smith and Labuschagne

Want to discuss their efforts the last two tests ?

We’d most definitely be rooted without them in this one

You, both have been very good across the last 2 teats.

Marnus in particular deserves huge praise for gutsing it out. Personally think he is a much better player when he's being aggressive than ultra defensive. Poor foot work (lack of to be precise) was his undoing yesterday

Though Smith's dismissal yesterday was abysmal. Stupid shot and poor leadership. Game changer

was at day 3 and if i wasnt away with the family would have gone today.

how good is test cricket? i was lucky enough to see lyon hobble to the creese in the second test last year, but fmd this test was also one for the ages.

Cummins was sensational i have to say as was Boland.

On the flip side Sharma is rubbish. He should stop finger pointing, and look at his own body of work.
