Dimma & co. must think we only need two defenders who can play tall against Essendon. Mid-sized Stringer will be their main goto target with Bellchambers & Draper rotating as resting rucks up forward.

Fair enough Kmac & Markov stay in after their form last week.

Dropping Broad from that viewpoint makes sense. No obvious role for him this week.

George lucky there wasn't an obvious like-for-like swap.

Interestingly, the 5-day break hasn't meant a managed rest for Cotch.

I'm sorry but dropping Broad makes no sense at all. He has been
one of our better players all year. While Castagna plays again. Cue the Benny Hill music deadset.

Well there's Higgins...hell I'd even give English a crack ahead of him at this point -not sure he's in the hub though....?...

Agreed, broad getting a week off to rest the body. No clear match up.

Grimes to Stringer, Balta to Draper.

George very lucky there's nobody else banging on the door

Riley Collier-Dawkins not in the emergencies anymore?
Does anyone know how he went in the last scratch match? Did he do some “good things”.

I think he’s probably a dud. If your a first rounder and haven’t been able to demand your spot without an injury since he arrived maybe he’s not the player we expected (possibly soft? or mentally weak? or just a late bloomer?)

It’s frustrating we haven’t seen him debut but better than giving him a game and he totally waste his opportunity like he seems to have just playing reserves without giving the selectors no other option.

My goodness, give the young man some time! He certainly doesn't look like a dud when I've watched him at VFL level. Gets in and under and uses his pace, however the fact he doesn't average 20+ just yet doesn't mean he is a failure.

Your probably right TM. He was great in last years vfl Grand final.

Recently he mentioned himself how disappointed he was getting named as emergency several times last year without getting a senior debut whilst former teammates were getting their shot at other clubs. From the article It sounded like he knew what was required of him and he was going to knuckle down and just improve unfortunately Covid 19 hasn’t helped his cause.
It’s unfortunate he’s been overlooked with so many opportunities that have arisen with injured players especially in the middle.

I’m just wondering what he’s lacking and I’m surprised he hasn’t been given at least 1 game by now. It’s not like the club don’t like giving young players a run as we’ve seen in the last few years.
