No, As much as I liked Dan, he needed a good kick in the backside, a lot of lairizing and laziness entered into his football and he got the wake up call that he needed, nothing like being traded and staring at the abyss to get your focus back in play. He played this year to salvage a career that he was letting slip, he should thank us for our considerable size 10.

Ask me this question again in a years time.  Dan is a good player who has some tricks, but after he has a good year he has a tendency to rest on his laurels for another year or two, just happy to skate through.  That's why we let him go in the first place ...

I always liked Dan more than Castagna. I was disappointed to see him go last year.

However, it seemed like he was on the outer at the RFC, so probably the best move for him was to go and feel valued at another club.

Plus his haircut is  :chuck

Hopefully we're happy and he is sad tonight.

In 2017 Dan was my favourite.
In 2019 he was the worst. We made the right call and Im happy Dan has been able to turn it around and play great footy.
I dont think that wouldve happened at Richmond

One tainted goal.

Edwards and Bolton made him look completely C grade.

On Fox Footy they were talking about St.Kilda's lack of pressure anf singled out Butler giving up on chasing Cotchin out of defence......that kind of soft, lazy crap was exactly why we let him go and why it was the right move.... :shh
