Another elite kick from your boy Short...how many votes will you give him today? :shh

Cheap shot Directed at me?

Unlike Short's kicking I'd say it was more "accurate" than "cheap"........... :shh

Astbury still wondering why he was called to play on when he didn't move off the mark.

29 - 35. Thanks ump!

I thought he went to play on

Right call by the Ump IMHO
Fair enough.

I'm probably reflecting that that call is not applied consistently to all teams.

We've had just 20 tackles in a whole half. That's one tackle per Tiger. Combined with SHocking's silly 'mark the game uncontested' rules, it's bruise-free footy out there. No one wants to get injured in a meaningless final round 23 game of the season.

Hawthorn is taking this far more seriously than we are. They actually care about winning.

The main thing that's cost us so far today is the main thing that's cost us all year - broken tackles... :shh

...anyway let them address in the pre-season, may it comtinue for at least two more quarters...I want high picks... :shh :shh

Let's be honest no rules are applied consistently this season

Not even the AFL's beloved STAND rule

You know things are crook whe your best, leading tackler of the season has not laid a tackle in the first half.

It sums up our poor goalkicking this year that we've had 7 marks inside 50 yet only kicked 4 goals in a half  :P. Lynch missed another sitter but all up the whole team hasn't been able to kick over a jam tin all year. Shots 35-40m out not making the distance or sprayed wide.

Floss to Astbury to Naish switch off play to Kmac to Lynch in the pocket. Poster (tough shot to be fair).

We don't get 50s Eddie.

Should have been 50 to George. George then does a poor pass towards Kmac and it's turned over. Hawks run it up for a goal.
