We wanted kids played.

They've played a few kids and the kids have been good

And yes Short in the midfield

Our percentage went up by almost 20% tonight. We're currently in the Eight.

Hmmm thoughts to take away...

Rioli down back is great.
Balta also better down back although can swing and play almost anywhere.
Gibcus is a slider at pick 9 bloody hell. Him with Balta and hopefully one of Miller or Biggie just being at least serviceable and we have a defensive bookend sorted for a decade.
Lynch stood up and hopefully can produce more games like that.
Jack still has something to offer.
Bolton is our best player and has been since 2021. I think more important than dusty even.
Having Grimes and Vlastuin back makes our backline so much better.
I like playing Soldo - Nank has been smashed around this year already.

Great question

Throw in Tarrant too. I wouldn’t bring Tarrant straight back in but my gut tells me they will

Rioli was excellent off half back so clean with the footy. Short really good in the middle and used it really well.

Lynch was getting it pretty easy and didn’t have much of opposition up there, could’ve and probably should’ve kicked 10. Rucks had a pretty easy night too without any notable opposition and gave pretty good service to the mids. Vlaustin too had a pretty easy night. McIntosh had a good game on the wing.

Gibcus was excellent down back and is going to be a star player for us.
Keep Balta down back and only switch him forward when Reiwoldt retires I’m not sold on Tarrant.

RCD did ok, good pressure but would love see him to kick the ball it more.

Great to see Lambert get through the game.  :clapping

Bolton best on ground and didn’t look like he had a player all night was fantastic.

The club that keeps giving.

Lived in Perth a long time - never seen West Coast this bad before . They are an empty shell of a side .

They are Richmond circa 2004 when fans were spitting on Spud Frawley.

Surely an asterisk needs to go along side this victory.

Ah had a hell of a time didnt get in till 3 am. Had to get up early and go paint balling for my wifes work. Wasnt pretty. as that ended up after 12 on sat night. Only just getting over it all now.

Will have to watch the game again as i was too inebriated to remember too much.
Will say though i agree with mat073 wce were abysmal it was a continual line of mistake after mistake that just gifted us goal after goal.Eagles fans were pulling their hair out to start with and in the end just laughed.

They have lost their last three now by 63, 84 and 100 and there is a 55 point hiding in there as well. That is a bit of perspective and as mat says surely an asterisk needs to go along this victory.

Hardwick acknowledged the state of West Coast in press conference and I don't think any of the players spoken were getting carried away with the win. Great to see both Daniel and Maurice Jnr in same side. Bolton best on ground. Gibcus very impressive. Good to see Balta getting confidence back and Short in the middle.

While it is obvious that the Eagles are terrible

Fact remains we beat them by margin that we should have considering how poor they are.

That's a positive IMHO, normally in circumstances like that we win by 4-5 goals..

We thrashed and inferior opposition which is what a good side should do
