Great team effort. The Cats through everything at us today and there were times they could of giot away from us. But the boys dug deep and outlasted them in the end. Yeah they could of kicked straight but most of their shots were under pressure and bad kicking is bad footy.

3. Hyde. Best game for the Tiges.
2. Pettifer.
1. Give it to Simmo as the best big man although Cogs is very stiff.

Apologies to Cogs, Blingers, Tuck, Joel, Paddy, Krak and Newman in the last, Tivs, Polo, Meyer and Knobel in the ruck.

3 - Tambo - Played a top game today, used his pace to provide a Go to man all day and was also great around the stopages
2 - Simmo - Showed that he was the dominant Ruckman today, kill Otto
1 - Polo - What a player he is going to be, tackles well and seems to read play well also.

Apologies to Krak, Petts, Hyde, Chubbs the list goes on

Great game tigers.

He may haven't got much of the footy as he normally does but Sugar was marshalling the troops out there. When a young cub got the ball in the last quarter he would run up and tell them to settle.

3 - Pettifer

2 - Simmonds

1 - Tambling

Special mentions to:

Krak - his last quarter was simply sensational. his work off the ball (not picked up by the TV) was fantastic
Hyde - getting better all the time
Polo - this kid is going to be very special. His 2nd and 3rd efforts are a lesson to his team-mates

Thought it was Meyer's best game.

And a very special mention to Trent Knobel - we got 2 goals directly from his tap work in the F50. He is an asset  :thumbsup

Actually it was a very solid team effort :clapping :clapping

The Golden Turn-Up (aka the Jonny Manton Medal) As I lounged around this afternoon and watched the replay I thought there is only one person worthy this week  ;) The look on his face as he trudged off Skill Stadium made me think we are going places and you sir are not........................ :lol take a bow BRAD OTTEN$  :wallywink :wallywink

 :rollin :rollin

also , i know it was his 1st game back and spent much time on the bench , but yesterday was another day our captain played as if he wasnt our captain.

Very harsh X - I thought he was very good in the last quarter - led from the front, alot of work off the balll that would go unnoticed (certainly wasn't picked up on the TV)
