Really good effort from the boys. It’s a tough night for the club with gibcus going down.

Seriously don’t see bolton as a part of our future.
Going to be a long season with gibcus’ injury re structuring our team

I get the feeling were going to have many fighting losses this year, not many wins.

Ballsy effort tonight, but geez, some of our decision making and basic skills are putrid.

Sound like a broken record, but fing umps.

80m penalty, Kamdyn arm chopped, even the Balta in the back, he didn't actually fall onto him...

Must acknowledge the huge performance by the boys. To run out the game with nothing left in the tank was impressive. We played a great style tonight and if not for those multiple injuries, we win the game.

Final Score

Richmond   5.2     7.4      11.7     12.9-81
Carlton       3.3     6.9      9.11    12.14-86

Goals: Balta 3, Lynch 2, Martin 2, Short, M.Rioli, Baker, Taranto, Campbell.

Gutsy to fight it out and we had our chances to win it but our failure to do the basics (skills and tackling) well and often enough just kills us. The injuries especially an ACL to Gibcus just makes the loss hurt more.
