Ch 7 said Prestia went off late with calf soreness.

Dusty of course will be back next week for his 300th.

Ins: DUSTY / LYNCH / HOPPER

Outs: DOW / KOSCHITZKE / SONSIE

I think Prestia was just being cautious not to miss the big game next week.
9 day break so he should be ok for about at least a quarter of footy.  :rollin

Surely we don’t bring hopper back 1 week before the bye given his history.

Then again maybe it’s better for him to play 1 week then have a week off  :huh

Team Tips:

In a shock to no one, the return of Dustin Martin for his 300th game this weekend is the headline act of the clash between the Tigers and Hawks. Who he comes in for remains less clear, after solid effort all-round from the yellow and black for an away win in Adelaide. Jacob Koschitzke, Hugo Ralphsmith and Samson Ryan were the quietest of a good bunch, and each could be under the pump - especially with the expected inclusion of Tom Lynch back from a hamstring injury. History at the selection table suggests Koschitzke is the most likely of the trio to make way for Lynch. Dion Prestia was off the ground late last Thursday with a tight calf, but there is yet to be an indication he will miss the match just yet. Despite not much to pick from in the reserves, Sam Banks put his hand up to be included for the big game with a massive 37 disposals, 10 inside 50’s and goal in their side’s 49-point win over Port Melbourne.

You can tell whoever wrote this didn't watch the game.

Ralph was solid.

Kosi not good but should have had 2 goals then we'd be saying fair enough for a late 3rd round pick trade.

Ryan yeah maybe.

INS: Some bloke called Dustin Martin and Lynch

OUTS: Prestia, Ryan (reckon Kosi can be the ruck chop out)

With Prestia out I think Sonsie should finally get his chance in the guts

Broad - Miller - Vlastuin
Rioli - Blight - Brown

Ralphsmith - Martin - Trezise. Ralphshite lucky as well.
Nankervis - Taranto - Baker

Mansell - Balta - Cumberland. Three goals saved his arse. We have to have the obligatory battler in Mansell

Bolton - Lynch - Bauer.

McAuliffe - Smith  - Campbell - Koschitzke.

Sonsie has not had a lot of it for the last four weeks. Thought we may   send him back for  some touch having lost what touch had playing out of position for the last 4 weeks.
Smith has been a model of consistency ffs lets reward him with a starting 22 game.

No more sub time for McAuliffe just play him ffs.

Blight he is showing a bit in the magoos its all about having a look at these types.Would be rewarding good form.
Frees Balta up. Who cares where Balta plays for the rest of the season. Playing him forward means we can have a look at the likes of Blight can even have a look at Koschitzke as a kpd. Better to find out for sure sooner rather than later.

Bauer We need to get games into him, so play him as that mobile third tall forward. he aint pushing Miller out of defense and we need to try Blight. Broad is the other option he could replace but we need Broads experience back there. So for me forward it is.
A mobile tall option who actually takes grabs instead of a dinosaur who couldn't catch a cold in siberia.

Trezise showed his worth playing a shut down role but he can run, he  is a better option than old poos his pants Short as is Smiffy.

No -  Short, Graham, McIntosh, Ryan, Prestia, Sonsie.
In-  Lynch - Martin - Blight - Bauer- Trezise - Smith - McAuliffe.
Sub Dow.
