I’m sure if the offers were there then they would have. Bit of a weird draft, seems like clubs had such a variety in their own internal rankings that you could switch picks and still end up with who you wanted.

Grlj at certain points was rated top 3 in the draft, even at the time of the combine when he dominated results. Stupid phantom drafts had him fall out of top 10. No way he would have got past Essendon.
