From
@cleary_mitch

"Tassie wants Richmond in Hobart 2026/27 before the Devils arrive.
North Melb is out of Hobart at the end of this year - leaving a hole for AFL content in the state’s capital.
Last five Tigers home games at Marvel avg 21,000. There would be a much bigger cheque on offer in Tassie"

Last 5-7 seasons we've played 1 game at Marvel not 2

Tas govt want us to play 2

So members would lose 2 games

Not sold (no pun intended) it's a good idea

Isn’t the 1 home game at marvel an AFL requirement for all VIC teams? I didn’t think we could sell that game elsewhere so wouldn’t both have to come out of the G games?

Boys weekend
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Not sure that's quite right.

Yes MCG tenants have to play home games at Comic Book Stadium to fulfil contractual obligations

But....

Melbourne for example don't play home games at Marvel because of the home games they play in Alice Springs

You'd think the same would apply if we were to move a home or in this case 2 to Tassie

Which part of the Tas govt approached the RFC don't you get. It is not like we gone grovelling to them  ::)

This is not a CEO decision, any decison will be made by the board

And before you go attacking me. FWIW I'm not in favour of it

Okay I agree let's wait and see, though where there is smoke... JD stand and the failure to manage money and a project is alarming.

The CEO sits on the board. Let's not beat around the bush. If we make this stupid move he should be held to account and the president for giving the members the middle finger.

3 flags in recent times and we shouldn't even discussing this topic.
