I luv him MT.  In fact, he's my favourite player of all time.  Not because he's the best player, but becasue he's got the biggest heart I've seen in any sportsman ever.

I went to the tennis last week - love the tennis.

I am not a great fan of Hewitt's but I have always admired his great patroitism - especially regarding the Davis Cup. I didn't all of last nights match because (and I have to say it) I found it boring. Nalbandian plays boring tennis - no flare and Hewitt well he's a scrambler but not a flashy player either. If it's 11.00pm I want some flare - that's why I am looking forward to Safin -v- Federer. :bow

If Safin's got his head together - he is a real show against Federer, if he hasn't .......................... who knows but at least we might get to see a racquet get smashed

LMAO at Hewitt, Roddick and Safin thinking they've got a chance to win the Oz open.  They'll be lucky to get a set off Roger.  Federer made Aggassi look like an amatuer and will do likewise to Safin and whoever he plays in the final.  I just wanna see Safin break a few racquets - he's top value that bloke and more players should be like him.  Also it was great seeing Hewitt and Nalbandian almost getting into a scuffle.  Tennis needs more incidents like this along with that spitting one.  It breaks the boredom of those 5 setters.

Hewitt has one of those rare personalities that are just demented with desire to win. Jeff Fenech also had it. So did Paul Kelly.

Love watching these rare breed of psychotics go about their business. Inspiring.

 ;D ;D ;) ;)

And to make it the perfect night - Safin smashed a racquet as well :bow

Seriously Safin played very well and surprisingly got inside Federer's head and he cracked. Normally Federer is ice cool not in this match he got really frustrated - hell even Federer threw his racquet. It was a great match :thumbsup

Well done Marat.

lmfaooo! Great match. I think Safin would have killed himself if he didn't end up winning that match after choking on all those match points in the 5th set.

This Australian Open has been pretty good I reckon compared to recent grandslams and we still have some possible great matches to come.

Expect Hewitt to get dumped in 3 sets tonight (he has gone to the well too many times) but Roddick v Safin should be a great match. Can't see it going anything less than 5 sets. Safin has slayed the king so good luck to him taking out the tournament. He deserves it.

Yeah - I don't give Hewitt much chance against Roddick - he's too spent.  If he can get up then it'll be a massive effort.  Roddick/Hewitt would have been rubbing their hands together when Safin won because had it been Roger in the final, they would need to play above themselves to beat him.  This way the self-detructive Safin might turn up and shoot himself in the final.

I just wanna see more racquets broken lol.

LOL. Safin's a funny idiot. He walks around like a zombie for pretty much the whole match with a slack jaw and then he just snaps out of nowhere. Also love how he talks to himself between first and second serves. he served pretty well last night.

Oh and Fwoy, that avatar is an absolute crack up mate. ROFLFMFLMFLFMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone watching the tennis now?  What's the score?  We are an hour behind and I don't think I can handle another long late night.

Hewitt's up 2 sets to 1 Julz. Just won the third set in another tiebreaker.

Hewitt   3  7  7
Roddick  6  6  6

nothing like an innocent typo  ;)
