Was good today again but still needs to make better defensive decisions. "Corralling" players is not his go.  Still, if he doesn't get pushed out by the end of the year it's an indictment on our depth and list management. (as if today's result wasn't already enough of one)

King is finished.  Wouldn't get a game at any other club.

Why we play guys like this and pick up delisted players is beyond me.
Go Tigers!

Spirited Richmond small forward Jake King has his sights firmly set on a return to the playing field in the next couple of weeks.

hope geez that word describes the rfc to a tee.  bet ya he gets a one yr contract  and we turn over just 5 or 6 including rookies. yep we are better than we have shown, cmon we are  really a top 4 side and we are locked and loaded. hhhhhaaaarrrrgggggghyhhhhhhhh hhhhhhaaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhh.

everything and anything revolves around hope when it comes to footy at richmond. when it actually revolves around certainty good planning and consistency maybe, just maybe we will become a decent side.
heres a list of hope for ya.
we hope the following can go from mediocrity to good
s edwards elton, petterd, mcdonough, vickery, batchelor,  oh ffs i have to stop, easier to name the 4 or 5 who i can categgorically say are consistent good players.
hope the eternal word at richmond.  lets keep em all just in case they come good. when we can say definately maybe we can organise a list.

ffs jake king at 30yrs of age  and 8 yrs later we hope he can become a good consistent  player. yet theres every chance they will hang onto him.

As long as finals are mathematically possible, King should come through the VFL.

If we can't play finals, give him a farewell game, he deserves it IMO.

I don't think we should have Jake on our list next year, however from all reports he would be great to stay in the role in some capacity off field.
Go Tigers!

As much as I love Jake king! he doesn't need a farewell game,
Newman yes, King no.
It's that simple Spud
